2. Credit System

2.1 Credit Value

Catalyst operates on a prepaid credit system. The exchange rate is fixed at:

10 Credits = $1.00 USD

Credits are the sole currency for purchasing services on the Catalyst platform. All service prices are displayed in credits.

2.2 Credit Characteristics

  • No expiration: Credits remain valid indefinitely and do not expire
  • Non-transferable: Credits cannot be transferred between accounts or to third parties
  • No monetary value: Credits cannot be exchanged back for cash except as provided in our Refund Policy
  • Single account: Credits are tied to your registered account only

2.3 Credit Packages

Credits are available for purchase in various packages. Current pricing is displayed on the platform at the time of purchase. We may offer promotional packages or volume discounts from time to time.

3. Payment Model

3.1 One-Time Purchases Only

Catalyst operates exclusively on a one-time payment model. We do not offer:

  • Subscription plans
  • Recurring billing
  • Automatic renewals
  • Stored payment methods for automatic charges

Each credit purchase requires explicit authorization from you. You will never be charged automatically or without your direct action.

3.2 Pay-As-You-Go

You purchase credits when you need them and use them at your discretion. There are no minimum purchase requirements or usage commitments.

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processors.

Catalyst does not store your full card details. All sensitive payment information is handled securely in accordance with the highest security standards.

5. Pricing and Currency

5.1 Display Currency

Prices for credit packages are displayed in USD (United States Dollars). Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion fees if your card is denominated in a different currency.

5.2 Price Transparency

All prices displayed include any applicable platform fees. The total amount you will be charged is clearly shown before you confirm your purchase.

6. Payment Security

6.1 Security Standards

We implement industry-leading security measures to protect your payment information:

  • PCI DSS Compliance: All payment processing is handled by PCI DSS Level 1 certified service providers
  • TLS Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Payment Disputes

If you believe there has been an error with your payment or you do not recognize a charge, please contact us immediately at support@catalystai.expert with:

  • Your account email address
  • Transaction date and amount
  • Description of the issue

We aim to respond to all payment inquiries within 2 business days and resolve disputes within 14 business days.

8.2 Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks incur processing fees and may result in account suspension pending investigation.

Fraudulent chargebacks (where services were legitimately used) may result in permanent account termination.

9. Failed Payments

If your payment fails, you will be notified immediately. Common reasons for payment failure include:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Card expired or invalid
  • Bank declined the transaction
  • 3D Secure authentication not completed
  • Fraud prevention measures triggered

No credits will be issued for failed payments. You may retry with the same or a different payment method.
